Nicknamed double-A, like the accessibility standard.
Ph.D. (h.c.) in Accessibility and Inclusive Design
I am actively involved with the MATF at W3C, which has been tasked to translate the WCAG to fit the mobile apps use case. My experience of working with WHO and ILO gave me the initial boost to bring accessibility to design phase, which led to development of accessibility guidelines for design professionals.
With over a decade of experience, I specialize in designing accessible mobile apps and data-driven products that transform complex information. I am experienced in co-owning the problem space with product managers, shaping solutions that balance user needs with business goals in high-impact areas like segmentation tools, user behavior analysis, and metrics platforms. My role extends beyond design—I'm actively involved in product strategy and decision-making, ensuring that every solution we create is scalable, and aligned with key performance metrics.
I work closely with cross-functional teams to develop accessible design systems that help in creation of accessible apps and products without the designers having to second guess their choices.
